Municipal Reports
In accordance with 24 V.S.A. ยง 1173, municipal clerks are responsible for submitting a digital version of their municipal reports to the Vermont State Archives and Records Administration on an annual basis. To submit an annual report, please see the process outlined below.
Electronic Submission Process (Preferred)
Digital versions of annual reports can be submitted by email to sos.statutoryfilings@vermont.gov. Please use subject line: [Municipality Name] [Report Year] Annual Municipal Report, e.g. Subject: West Haven 2019 Annual Municipal Report.
To facilitate the processing of the report upon receipt, the following file naming standard is preferred: [Your Municipality Name]_YYYY_VermontMunicipalReport, e.g. WestHaven_2019_VermontMunicipalReport.pdf
Paper Copy Submission Process
If unable to email a digital version to sos.statutoryfilings@vermont.gov, please send one paper copy to the following address (Attn: Statutory Filings Administrator).
