Family Court Records

Family cases are currently heard by the Family Division of the Superior Court. Predecessors to the Family Division include the former Vermont Family Court, Municipal Courts and County Courts. Family court cases in the Vermont State Archives are generally limited to cases heard prior to 1945 and specific geographic locations.
